St Johns church Stanton
St Johns church has a prominent position on a high spur above the valley of the River Stanton. In 1810 St Johns was described as being in very bad repair and the roof was removed in 1962.
St Johns is unusual as the graveyard is still in use.
If anybody would like to expand the Church Micro series please do, we would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names, to avoid duplication.
