Cerkvica Sv. Lovrenca / Church of St. Lawrence:
Najbolje bo,
ce avto parkirate v vasi Bašelj. Morda se zapeljite do
brunarice Gamsov raj, kamor vas bodo usmerili kažipoti. Od tod
je do cerkvice slabe pol ure hoda.
Cerkvica je dokaj stara
- zgrajena je bila leta 1142. Turki so jo požgali, nato
pa je bila veckrat obnovljena in prizidana v letih 1682 in 1688. Od
udara strele je leta 1897 zgorel zvonik in bil obnovljen leta 1933.
V celoti je bila pa cerkvica obnovljena leta 1994.
V bližini cerkvice je tudi
Dom na Lovrencu, menda odprt cez vikende. Znan je po krofih.

The best way to start the trip is to park your car in village
Bašelj. Perhaps you can drive further to the hut "Gamsov
raj" - follow the signs. It is about half an hour walk from there
to the church.
The church is quite old - it was built in 1142. The Turks burnt
it down. Later it has been renovated and enlarged several times,
mainly in years 1682 and 1688. In 1897 the bell tower burnt down in
the storm - it has been renovated in 1933. The church has been
completely renovated in 1994.
Near the churc there is "Dom na Lovrencu" - hut, which is opened
during weekends and is well known for its doughnuts.

Mlincki/Little mills:
Na notranji platnici logbook-a so kordinate za še eno
zanimivost - mlincke. Deset minut hoje vas bo pripeljalo do
potocka, kjer je v vrsti postavljenih kar nekaj mlinckov. Kadar je
vode vec, je 200 metrov višje po strugi tudi manjši
slap.
On the first side of the logbook, there are coordinates for
another thing worth seeing - little mills. Ten minutes walk will
bring you to a spring with several little mills on it. If there is
enough water, there is a little waterfall 200 meters upstream.
