Geocache Description:

A nice view over a stream bed

Did a check on this cache and found that the pencil is gone, but we didn't have a spare with us. For now, please BYOP.

After parking at the designated spot, take a short walk up a steep slope takes you to an Eastern Cape gem. Small river beds with cliffs like these are what makes Valley Bushveld special. To the untrained eye it is a harsh environment, but the life that streams give to the area is shown here. Approach quietly and you may be rewarded with a Kudu or two.

The roads are a bit rough, but you can get around in most vehicles if you drive patiently. Turn off the R67 on the Committee's drift road, and follow the signs to the reserve. Once in the reserve stay on the main road, go through two gates and you'll arrive at the parking spot.

The cliffs are quite steep and sneak up on you so keep young children on a leash. Watch out for dangerous animals (Baboons, Rhino and Buffalo) and remember that you are in a reserve, so don't get out of your car except at designated areas.
