At a platform overlooking Sandfly Bay.Sandfly bay was named so because the sand flies everywhere when it is windy, it looks really cool, like something out of a desert. The dunes are a great spot for sand-sledging, though it is hard work climbing back up! Along the beach you may see seals and at dawn or dusk, Yellow-Eyed Penguins, also know as Hoiho. You don't actually need to go into the bay itself, but we recommend you visit anyway and be warned, the sand is steep and slippery...
The Cache is a 1L Snap-Lock Container hidden on the track down to Sandfly bay recycle from another nearby.
