The Surviving in Buenos Aires series is based off Alexholic's excellent surviving the virus series and describe a post-geocaching world, a zombie-type story. If you don't like this type of story, below you have a simple version.
Week 9
It's incredible how much lucky one can get in just a few days… or is it fate? Destiny? Or just the will to survive?
Just four days ago I was about to starve, but managed to solve all my food and water requirements for at least a full year.
And just minutes ago I climbed to another nearby cell tower ande broadcasted on all short wave frequencies I could. And after some minutes… I got a response!
My heart pumped so fast! I couldn't believe it! There was too much static, but I manage to understand most of the messages.
It's a man from Brazil, that has already made contact with other people. He's even established a network and a map of survivors, and will try to relay my message to Alexholic.
Unluckily, after some minutes my 12v battery died… so I wasn't able to get more information nor valuable tips for surviving. I need to know how the virus spread, is it airborne? What are the creature's weaknesses? how can I prevent my shelter from being discovered and destroyed so often? There are so many things I need to know!
But he was able to tell their schedule: they meet and transmit only once a week, to save power. So, in a week I will return to the antenna with a fresh battery (that I still have to find).
Meanwhile, I have to find local survivors. Tomorrow I will check all my previous containers to see any of them got signed. So far I know there's one survivor, called gaturro&conejitem, but I hadn't time to track him nor I have much information on him. Is he alone? Is he alright?
Let's hide this small container. As always, I will write down useful information. This time it's the frequencies, dates and hours you can contact this short wave radio network.

Simple version
This cache series is located between the Anchorena and Barrancas Stations of the Tren de la Costa, in a path only accessible by foot or by bicycle.
If you have one or two hours and want to excersice a little come and check this huge serie of caches!
Also, dont forget to check the Tren de la Costa Ride cache series, that has caches near most stations.
When to search for the cache
When searching for this cache please avoid busy moments such as weekends and holydays, as this area gets really crowded with geomuggles.
In Argentina the Geocaching is not yet a game as popular as in other countries, and is common that geomuggles steal caches just for fun. So, please search and pick up the cache when no one is looking, and later leave the cache the same way. Always try to pass unnoticed.
Although the area is not dangerous avoid searching for this cache at night.

Halfway betteen the Anchorena and the Barrancas Station you'll find this cache.
If you come by car there's free parking at the nearby streets, and you can only access the hiking path at these locations:

La serie Sobreviviendo en Buenos Aires está basada en la excelente surviving the virus de Alexholic y describe un mundo post-geocaching world, una historia de estilo zombie. Si no es de tu gusto este tipo de historias, mas abajo tienes una versión simple.
Semana 9.
Es increíble como la suerte puede cambiar tanto en tan solo unos días… ¿O es el destino? ¿O simplemente las ganas de sobrevivir?
Tan solo cuatro días atrás estaba a punto de desfallecer por falta de agua y comida, pero finalmente me logré solucionar todas mis necesidades de agua y comida por al menos un año.
Y minutos atrás escalé esta otra torre de transmisión cercana y transmití en todas las frecuencias que pude. Y tras unos minutos… obtuve una respuesta!
Mi corazón latía tan fuerte! No lo podía creer! Si bien había demasiada interferencia, logré entender casi todos los mensajes.
Es un hombre de Brasil, que ya ha tenido contacto con más sobrevivientes. Ha establecido incluso una red y un mapa de los sobrevivientes. E intentará retransmitir mi mensaje a Alexholic.
Desgraciadamente, tras algunos minutes mi batería de 12 voltios se agotó… así que no pude obtener más información o invaluables consejos para sobrevivir. Necesito saber cómo se propaga el virus, las debilidades de las criaturas, como prevenir que destruyan mi refugio tan seguido y muchas, muchas cosas más.
Pero pude saber su horario: transmite solo una vez por semana, para conservar la energía. Así que en una semana regresaré a esta (u otra) antena con una nueva batería, la cual aún debo localizar.
Mientras tanto, debo encontrar a los sobrevivientes locales que haya. Mañana revisaré todos los contenedores que he dejado a ver si hay mensajes, Hasta ahora solo se que hay un sobreviviente, de nombre gaturro&conejitem, pero no he tenido tiempo de rastrearlo ni tengo mas información de él. Se encontrará solo? Le estará costando sobrevivir tanto como a mi en los días pasados?
Ya es hora de esconder este pequeño contenedor. Como siempre, escribiré información de utilidad, esta vez son las frecuencias, días y horas en las que pueden contactar a esta red de radio de onda corta internacional.

Versión simple
Esta serie de caches se encuentra entre las estaciones Anchorena y Barrancas del Tren de la Costa, en un camino reservado para peatones y bicicletas que une ambas estaciones.
Si tienes algunas horas libres y ganas de hacer un poco de ejercicio, ven y diviertete encontrando esta nueva y gran serie de caches.
También no te olvides de la serie de caches del Paseo del Tren de la Costa, que tiene caches cerca de casi cada estación del tren.
Cuando buscar el cache
Al buscar este cache por favor evita momentos de alta actividad como los fines de semana, esta área se llena por completo de geomuggles.
En Argentina el Geochacing todavía no es tan popular como en otros paises, y es comun que los geomuggles roben los cachés por simple diversión. Por lo tanto, por favor busca y recoge el cache cuando nadie esté mirando, y luego deja el caché tal cual como lo encontraste. Siempre intenta pasar desapecibido.
Y si bien esta área no es peligrosa, evita buscar este cache de noche.

A mitad de camino entre las estaciones Anchorena y Barrancas encontrarás este cache.
Solo puedes acceder a este camino desde los cruces a nivel de las calles cercanas, en:
- General Alvear y Juan Diaz de Solis (recomendado)

Si vienes en auto, cerca tienes estacionamiento libre, sobre las calles.
