This cache is located within the Msinsi Reserve of Shongweni Dam.This cache is not too difficult to find, it is located across the dam from either picnic spot. A bit of balance may be required to find it and short people may have an added disadvantage.
The cache is located above the high water mark. it is a grey film container for old 35mm reel to reel film. inside the container is a logbook. There is enough space to put travel bugs and trade items if you so wish. Unfortunately I forgot to add a pencil to the cache.
You will need to gain access into the reserve to find this cache, it is R30 a person entry and R3 community levy for a vehicle.
You will need a boat of some sort to get to this cache. Kayaks are available for hire at the dam. Please note that Shongweni is an Eco dam and therefore only paddle craft and electricly motorised boats are permitted.
