Geocache Description:

All Hallows Church with its unusual Scots crown tower is a landmark when approaching from Petworth, and is floodlit at night. It was painted by J M W Turner and John Constable. The church, first recorded in 1100 AD, was mostly rebuilt and enlarged between 1807 and 1837, but retains Romanesque sculpture and a plain eight-sided twelfth century stone font.

It was difficult to find questions for you to answer here, as you will understand when you see the churchyard! There is, however, an unusual feature which you will find at the above co-ordinates.
The plaque explaining what this is has the dates 19AB-19CD.
Restored in 19EF.
Number on the item = RND GH.

The cache can be found at N50 59.(E-A)(D-B)(C+C) W000 37.B(E+H)C

The cache is a tube about 5" long.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
