Geocache Description:

We all love our supermarkets with their two-for-the-price-of-one offers. Here the Toads present their take on this with the 'One For the Price of Two' Church Micro!!!

The recommended parking is at the Catholic Church of Saint Anthony and St George, which is accessed via a lane off the A285 at the north end of the village.

For many years the focus of Catholicism in this area was not at Petworth, but at Burton Park (the large house a few hundred metres east of the present church at Duncton).
In 1854 Burton Park was inherited by Anthony John Wright Biddulph. He decided to provide a Catholic burial ground, but then adapted his plans by building a church as well.

At the above co-ordinates is a line of headstones for priests of the Society of Jesus.

How many headstones in the line? AB

When did Duncan Ferguson die? CD Oct 1949

Turn around and find the headstone for classical actor Cheryl Murray. When is the feast of St Margaret of Antioch? EF July.

Now leave the church to the south, take the path to the road and follow the pavement. Cross over to the Anglican Holy Trinity church.
Holy Trinity, Duncton
Holy Trinity Church was built in 1866 in the Decorated style, on the site of a medieval church. It has the oldest dated bell in Sussex, 1369, which is of Dutch origin.

There is a distinctive headstone for Robert de Grenier de Fonblanque and his wife, who was an originator and leader of the women's suffrage movement from Edinburgh to London in 19GH.

Behind you are two simple wooden crosses. One is for Albert Ronald Cronshaw and is headed 'India'. There are 4 letters at the bottom of the cross. Assign each of these a number using the usual system A=1, B=2 etc. These are your final four letters - JKLM

The cache can be found at N50 57.(A+F)(L-M)(H-G) W000 37.(K-B-C)(D-E)(J-D-A)

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
