This cache was placed for the BIG HUNT preceding Microfest 2010.
This is the cache which kicked off the whole event for us. As we were driving past we saw this open tract of land with a rocky outcrop. We looked at each other and said: "that is a cache waiting to happen." So we stopped and planted a micro there and then.
The Six Mile Spruit used to be a regular stopover a century ago as people would travel to Pretoria - in those days still a long way off. Now it IS Pretoria... or Tshwane...?
