The Shining Light Award was established in 1963 by Atlanta Gas
Light and News/Talk 750 WSB Radio. Each year the award recognizes a
Georgian who has been an inspiration to the lives of others through
service to humanity. A gas lamp and plaque is installed in their
honor at a site of their choice.
This is a nano (BYOP) placed in a high muggle area, but shouldn't
be too difficult to grab with some stealth. Please replace it as
you found it so that it looks like it belongs there.
Wheelchair accessible, but you can't reach it sitting down.
If you are interested in a walking tour of the Georgia State
University campus check out http://www2.gsu.edu/~wwwtou/.
The tour can be downlaoded to an iPod, MP3 player, PDA, or
printed and read.
Location has been updated on 9/30/2011. If you've hunted
the old one you are more than welcome to redo it at the new
location, but you won't find any challenge in reaquiring the
smiley!
If you are vertically challenged this new location might be a
tough on to grab.
