Geocache Description:

The OGS, or Olympic Gold Series, celebrates the many great accomplishments of our Canadian Athletes at the 2010 Vacouver Winter Olympics.
During this historic 17 days, Canada was able to clench a number of important records: First gold medal won on home soil, first female gold medal ever won on home soil, Most golds of any nation during the Games, most golds ever won by a host nation, and, of course, MOST GOLDS EVER WON BY A COUNTRY IN A SINGLE WINTER GAMES!!! This list of accomplishments was made possible by a roster of fantastic Canadian athletes. There is one cache in the series for each of 14 gold medalist, plus a final, for 15 caches in total.

All caches in the series are located along well-travelled areas in Brantford and Paris, and should be easily accessible at all times.

In order to locate this, the 15th and FINAL CACHE of the series, you will need to acquire some letters and equivalent numbers along the way. These letters and numbers are written in green on the first page of each logbook. Replace the letters you find with these numbers in the FINAL CACHE coordinates. These letters and numbers will give you the following co-ordinates:

N 43 A B. C D E
W 080 F G. H I J

You must find the 10 letters and their equivalent numbers in order to find the cache. Caches are NOT placed in any particular order and can be done in any order. However, as there are 14 caches in the series (not including the final) and only 10 required letters, you must find all of the caches in the series in order to collect all of the digits. I am not going to tell you which ones have letters and which ones don't, that's part of the puzzle!

Once you find the 10 letters and numbers, you will be able to find the final cache - Feels Like Gold - Joannie Rochette.

We ask that you trade fair, "TRADE UP OR TRADE EVEN"! By continuing to play the game this way, other cachers might have a chance to enjoy finding a trackable or other geocaching swag when they visit this cache.

This particular cache is for the Men's Hockey team. As this was a big win for us, I though a big cache was in order. It's an ice cream container, 3.5L. Thought it was fitting for a somewhat obvious reason...

Please remember to replace this cache exactly as you find it and cover well.

Happy caching!
