I've wanted to place a cache in this area for awhile. Please look at the Difficulty/Terrain-rating then consider if you want to go and search for this cache.
Cache is located near Black Bear Beach, don't worry about the name I have lived here since 2003 and never seen a bear in this area although it is possible.
Black Bear Beach is one of the more popular beaches in the Petawawa area. Its located on the Ottawa River and offers camping, a supervised swim area, small canteen and RV hook-ups. There is access to many hiking and biking trails the are in the area.
Please be careful of muggles during the summer months and if you go early in the morning I might even see you since this is along my regular running route (makes for easy maintenance).
