Geocache Description:


Is this the first cache placed by Hot Air Balloon?
Well Samwalkers and Growingupisoptional have tried to do this once before last year but the weather was poor.

Today the weather was excellent and we launched from the Old Parliament House grounds with cache in the basket ready for placing.
After a couple of phone calls mid flight to the geotalk hot line we came to the end of our flight and landed. Right near the landing spot we found a very likely hide for a quick placement.

We have called it "Toystory" after the name of our Balloon and TB; and "Marker Drop" because when flying in competitions you have to drop a marker as close to the target destination as possible. Well... instead of dropping a marker we dropped the cache!
