Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates will take you to the clue at what is possibly the oldest church in Bournemouth - St Andrews. This is a quick little multi which can be done with the longer multi - Bournemouth Bicentenary - Oldest Church cache which also starts here - not yet live as awaiting Natural England approval. It is a lovely old quaint church. As it is being restored I have not been able to go inside as yet. Hope to soon.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, we would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. Many thanks to sadexploration.

St Andrew's at Kinson, which has a 12th century tower and 14th century chancel, lies within the Manor of Canford Magna, it is centred on the site of a Saxon church. The parish boundaries extend far beyond Kinson Village, taking in various hamlets, Cudnell (or Bear Cross), High Howe, West Howe, Howe, East Howe, and Ensbury.

The more recently built hall behind the church is used for worship whilst work is being done.

The cache is a small camouflaged clip-top box - room for small toy swaps, geo coins and small travel bugs.
Wheelchair users will need help to retrieve cache
