Located at the Wexford Hotel along the waterfront in Montego Bay, Jamaica, within easy walking distance from the world famous Doctor’s Cave Beach. About a 5-minute drive from Sangster International Airport, or about a 7 minute drive from the terminal where the cruise ships dock. NO PROBLEM MON, unless you happen to be one of the unlucky tourists on a bus going to an all-inclusive resort. Your bus probably won’t stop here. However, you may be able to hire a taxi to take you to the cache.
This cache is a small magnetic key box with only enough space for a logbook. There is plenty of parking in the hotel parking lot near the cache. If you pick the right parking place, you will only need to walk about 10 feet. The area near the cache is easily accessible to the public 24 hours a day, NOT a high security/restricted access area, and no entrance fees. If you are walking on Gloucester Avenue, known as the Hip Strip, there are steps from the sidewalk that lead directly to the cache.
Since this is a public area, use care not to attract attention while searching, retrieving or replacing the cache. Replace it exactly where you found it so that it remains well hidden. When you are near the cache, if you need a distraction, you can use a camera to take photos of the beautiful bay just across the street.
