Welcome to the Alphabet Soup Series!
We dedicate this series to Donde Esta whose generous donation of
the containers helped make this happen.
FamilieRyan and Criffree got a wild hair and decided to put out
a series in an area of George Bush Park. Our goal with this was to
give back to the cachers who have provided similar series (such as
the Noble Trail, Big Smiley, Soda Jerk, and 100 Acres Woods)
caches.
When we started setting these out, it was wet and soupy, hence
the name. Parts are easy walk; others can be a bit more. At the
time of placement, the area had been very thoroughly mowed. But the
weeds and thorns will no doubt grow back. So the typical warning
about thorns, poisonous plants and critters should be heeded. While
setting these out, we saw wild pigs, hawks, rabbits, evidence of
beavers and even alligator gar fish!
So we hope you have as good a time as we did putting them
out.
