What: A 4th of July Event
Picnic
Where: Walla Walla Point Park
When: 7:30
p.m., Sunday, July 4
Whether you're traveling back
home from the weekend festivities on the west side of the state, or
if you've been here all this time, this Event is for you! We're
going to be gathering on a grassy area of the Walla Walla Point
Park, to enjoy a picnic dinner. So bring your blankets, folding
chairs, and a take-out meal. Bring something to eat from home, or
bring a to-go bag from your favorite restaurant. Then meet here
with other Geocachers, to share your weekend stories.
Then, if you decide to stay, you can see the
fireworks later, after the Event. Since this area is one of the
most popular spots, parking can be tricky. You may get a spot right
away, or you may have to walk a bit. We'll try to be as close to
these coords as possible, and make it obvious who we are (we're
trying for a sign!).
Here is a waymark for the Fireworks, that has a bunch
of info about the celebration: Fourth of July
