Geocache Description:

An after dark meet and greet at the Ledo Pizza in this shopping center. After that, we will go nearby to hear a resounding chorus of Spring Peepers

Date has been changed to March 30th A year ago this day, about an hour after sunset, I found the SBUX cache behind this shopping center. The sound of the Spring Peepers in the rushes of the retention pond was DEAFENING!. An unearthly pulsating sound which made me recall a 50's Sci-Fi sound effect of a space ship.


Please join me at Ledos Pizza at 7:00 and we can head out to the area at 8:00.

For the past three springs, I have first noticed these froggies on March 10th (+/- 2 days). You can hear them now at night. I hope the conditions will be right for these little guys to peep at the top of their lungs. See you there.
