Geocache Description:

The St Laurence Pountney Church was burnt down in the 1666 Great fire of London. Located 250 Metres from Pudding Lane where the fire started, it was one of 86 Churches to be destroyed. A committee set-up under the stewardship of Sir Christopher Wren were to decide which of these Churches were to be rebuilt. 51 Churches where chosen. The St Laurence Pountney was not one of them and modern offices now stand in its place. Parts of the grave yard still exist and can been seen here.

This micro cache is located in a quiet city street but it can get quite busy with office workers on week days. It is also overlooked by many offices so use stealth here. Please do not enter the graveyard areas.

This cache used to be a nano but was changed to the larger container with stronger magnets. As a result we have moved the cache location slightly. The hint has been updated appropriately. Hopefully this wont go missing quite as much.

If any body would like to expand to this series please do, could you please let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
