Hoe onstaan Holle Wegen ?
Een holle weg is een weg of een pad waarvan de wegdek lager ligt dan het omliggende land. Eeuwenlang gebruik, te voet of met paard en kar, heeft geleid tot een natuurlijk proces van erosie. Losgewoelde aarde spoelt af met het regenwater en diept op die manier jaar na jaar de holle weg verder uit. Een proces dat ook vandaag nog optreedt zolang het wegdek onverhard blijft.

How originate Hollow Trails?
Hollow trails are trails or a paths of which the level lies lower than the neighbouring country. Age-long use, at foot or with horses, has conducted to a natural process of erosion. Ground wash away with rain water and deepen this way year after year hollow further. A process which appears also actually as long as the path remains unpaved.
