Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off the multi-use trail in the Little Lost Creek Conservation Area. The hike to the cache is at least three miles round trip from the nearest parking lot and may involve traversing some steep slopes but the cache itself should be fairly easy to find. You have the option of trading a longer hike for easier terrain.

The cache is a small camouflaged water-resistant Pelican case about the size of a sandwich.

The initial contents of the cache were a dozen Boy Scout activity patches and a BSA 76 Bennington Patch Dog Tag, TB2RPF4.

The Greater St. Louis Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America sponsors the Lost Creek Trail that runs adjacent to the conservation area on Hwy EE. The intent of the cache is to provide scouts and scouters camping in the conservation area an opportunity to learn about geocaching and trade Boy Scout patches but anyone is welcome to trade any kind of age appropriate patches (nothing with adult content please).

Firearm and bow hunting is permitted in the conservation area. Be sure to check the Area Summary for regulations on when hunting seasons are in effect.
