One of a constellation of caches inspired by Orion. Each cache
contains a clue which you will need to complete the series. Begin
with
[alpha Ori] Betelgeuse (GC24MT8).
Mintaka is a multiple star system, composed of a large B-type blue
giant and a more massive O-type white star, where the eclipse of
one star over the other creates a dip in brightness. Mintaka is the
westernmost of the three stars that constitute Orion's Belt.
From the cache descriptions for the first four stars in this
series, you should be able to work out where to start looking for
this cache. Then use the clues below to track it down. Note: the
published coordinates are not close to the cache, and are
connected to it by merely the weakest of puns.
So many {alpha 1}, but find where two meet with a {beta 1} and
head north on a {gamma 1}. Before you reach a {kappa 1), take a
rest.
You are looking for a magnetic micro. Make a note of clue word
{delta} at the top of the log. Please bring a pen to complete the
log.
Parking is available in nearby streets.
