Geocache Description:

Welcome to Andrea’s 13th Birthday Cache, reserved for Things That Start With The Letter A!

We hope you enjoy the stroll as much as we do. One must begin at either Bishop's Beach or Mariner Park lots. For most, it's a fairly easy walk across uneven hard sand and rocks, less than a mile from either direction.

The cache is located just above sea level in the vicinity of the Argus Beach Monitoring Station. It should be visible to everyone who is looking for it, but it may require an adult to remove from its spot.

THREE IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) This cache is NOT accessible from the nearest roads on the map.
2) Approach is best at low tide from either side, and will typically require waterproof boots.
3) If it's a beautiful day and you forget a picnic, you may be disappointed.

A NOTE TO VISITORS: If you are unfamiliar with the area, Mariner Park is the large parking/RV lot less than 1/4 mile out the the Spit. Bishop's Beach is near Two Sisters Bakery (turn toward the water on Main Street, left on Bunnell, then right at the bakery to park at the end).
