Cache auf dem alten Friedhof in Schwenningen.
For English: See below. Dies war mein allererster Cache! Der Alte Friedhof in Schwenningen wurde 1869 angelegt. Durch die Uhrenindustrie und die damit verbundene Bevölkerungszunahme war der bisherige Friedhof zu klein geworden. 1920 hatte auch dieser Friedhof seine Kapazitätsgrenze erreicht, was dazu führte, dass nach 1961 zunächst keine Bestattungen mehr zugelassen wurden. Seit 2005 ist eine Urnenbestattung unter Bäumen oder in Gemeinschaftsgräbern wieder möglich.
Der Cache liegt nicht im "aktiven Teil" des Friedhofs. Zum Heben des Caches muss der Weg nicht verlassen werden. Es müssen keine Gräber gestört werden, der Cache ist nicht an einem Grabstein oder direkt auf einem Grab versteckt. Es muss auch nichts umgegraben werden. Alle Steine können da bleiben, wo sie sind.
In der Nähe ist die Kienzlegruft, die sehr sehenswert ist. Auch andere Fabrikantengräber sind zu sehen, ebenso Kriegsgräber aus dem Deutsch-Französischen Krieg von 1870/71 und aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg.
Leider wurde der Cache an der alten Stelle mehrfach gemuggelt. Ich habe ihn heute als Nano nochmals an einer neuen Stelle neu verlegt, leider hüpften die Koordinaten sehr stark. Ich hoffe, dass das so passt. Bitte Rückmeldungen in den Logs, zur Not Hint beachten!

This was my very first cache! The Old Graveyard of Schwenningen was first used in 1869. Up to then people had been buried around the church in the centre of the village.Because the industrial revolution had taken off in the area the number of inhabitants basically exploded.
1920 this graveyard became too small as well. The last person was buried in 1961, after that the graveyard was partly turned into a public park, but the most impressive gravestones remained. In 2005 it became active again - cremated people can be buried there - under trees near the entrance of the park.
The Cache is in the "inactive" part of the graveyard. If you want to find it you have to leave the main way only once for a few meters.
Please do not disturb any graves, the cache is not hidden on a grave or a grave stone. You don't have to dig, all the stones can remain where they are.
If you fancy a stroll: the graves of the old important families (like the Mauthes or the Kienzles) and factory owners are still intact and they were not taken down. There are also war graves from the German-French War of 1870/71 and the First World War.
