Virginia County Challenge Mystery Cache

Important Note!

The Commonwealth of Virginia is divided into 95 counties and 38 independent cities.

Under Virginia law, all municipalities incorporated as cities are independent cities and are not part of any county.
Therefore, cache finds within the city limits of an independent city WILL NOT count as a county find.

Because of this distinction, please see our cache Virginia Independent City Challenge, that will let you earn a separate smiley for all those independent city finds.

The Rules

1. Only caches that are listed on geocaching.com are valid caches for this challenge.
2. In order to count a county, you must find a cache in that county. Generally accepted rules, guidelines and conditions for logging a cache find apply. You must physically visit, locate, sign the log and/or log your find online for all the caches you claim for this challenge. You also need to meet all other requirements listed on the cache page, if there are any.
3. No temporary caches or locationless will count. In the case of multi-stage or puzzle caches the listing coordinates provided on the cache page will be used to determine in which county the cache resides.
4. Cache finds before and after the date of the creation of this challenge may be used.

Verification

To verify your list of counties logged, either post a bookmark list or send me a GPX file (preferred) of the caches you'd like to count towards the challenge.
There is no need to specify the county, though if you want to, feel free to do so.
After we have verified that you have a find in each of the 95 counties, we will send you the final coordinates and instructions so you can complete the challenge.
