Geocache Description:

The cache, a small, camo'd L & L, is not at the listed co-ordinates !!

Below are 12 snapshots of areas in and nearby the cache-laden Rouge Valley taken from Google Maps at the time this cache was published.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it ... assign each picture a numerical rank from Southernmost (1) to Northernmost (12). Do the simple math below the images, and you'll have the cache location.

Most of us possess a number of tools that make this possible. Because some of the pictures are of non-public places, visiting each location to obtain a waypoint is not the way to go.

A-Highway (I)

B-Campground

C-Front (or back?)

D-Cemetery

E-Dam

F-Farm

G-Highway (II)

H-Question Mark

I-Graveyard

J-Two Trains Meet

K-Funky Field

L-Power, Golf

The cache is located at :

N [(E*2)+(L+G+D+B)]° [(F*3)+A+G+D ].[(60*C)+(I*L)]

W 0[(I*12)+H-A]° [K*J].[(100*C)-(I*K)]

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

Please note: It is inevitable that the imagery in Google Maps (and the Geocaching.com maps) will change from the time that this cache is published. When it changes, I'll post a note here - you can see the exact imagery using the "Historical Imagery" feature in Google Earth - move the slider to "Sep 29, 2009". Of course, if you know the area, it may not be necessary.

Mar 5/10: Congrats to AdventureRat on FTF, very fitting as we recently encountered him while hiking through the valley. And special thanks to bggy, I assume the First To Solve, as he had the right answer before we did!
