Geocache Description:

Time for another CacheWalker bash! It's been far far too long since our last one. All are welcome for either the pre-Event walk or the Event itself or both.

09:30 meet for 10:00 depart - CacheWalker Group Walk
Before the Event we will be meeting at the pub car park for a walk of about 4.5 miles. I’m still planning this; there will be some new caches to find, so keep watching.

For those staying for the Event and want food, you can pre-order your food just before we leave for the walk. This will be a great help to the chef and better for you.

12:00 to 3:00pm The Event - Merrymouth Inn, Stow Road Nr Burford, Oxfordshire (just)
Hopefully we will have got back from the walk by noon. If you're not walking and we’ve not got back, then on arrival at the pub please let Bill or Mo know that you are here for the Geocaching Event and you will be directed to the correct place.

Food at the Event
The Merrymouth Inn do a Sunday roast as well as other hot meals. Have a look at their web site at the Merrymouth Inn Sample Menus (please note that the prices may not have been updated), this will give you an idea what they do. They also do baguettes if you aren’t that hungry.

If you want to eat, PLEASE let me know how many adults and how many children there will be and if it’s Sunday lunch you want or other in your “Will Attend” log so I can give the pub an idea of numbers, thank you.

Please note that Geodogs are welcome in the pub but please respect others and keep Geodogs on their lead.

Caches
As is traditional, new caches will be released for the Event; there will be details for those going on the walk as well as at the Event. There are plenty of existing caches in the vicinity as well, including the BBC (Bledingtons Bountiful Caches) series of 37 caches!

Other Stuff
Coin & TB swapping and spotting as usual, plus I'll have the FTF draw.

CacheWalker
OK, OK, I know, you newbies are wondering what the heck CacheWalker is, right? Well, we're just a group of local (Glos, Worcs, Warwicks mainly) cachers who enjoy walking, and we have a forum to chat about caching and walks. We sometimes get together to go out caching too. Caching groups seem to be more popular in America than here but since we all enjoy walking to caches more than most, it seemed sensible to share walks, routes, caches etc.

Disclaimer: Please remember that walking can be a dangerous activity and all walks are undertaken entirely at your own risk. It is each walker's responsibility to ensure that the walk and the weather conditions are within their capabilities. CacheWalker, its managers and members accept no liability for any injuries, loss or damage that occur during the walk or at the event.
