Welcome to our “diner” along the Arizona Trail, where lunch cannot be finer. We offer a choice of two menus -- “AZ Delectables” or “Little Caesars” And as you munch, enjoy the view of Pine below. Sorry, no take outs allowed. All items MUST remain in tack. Log book and pencil provided, however. The trek begins at the Pine Trailhead in Pine, AZ. Lots of paved parking and a pit stop at the TH. Coords below. From the TH, follow the Oak Springs Trail #16 -- a segment of the Arizona Trail -- roughly 2 miles to the Arizona Diner waypoint listed below. Then bushwhack, following your GPSr to GZ – about 145 feet. For a quick reference to nearby caches, see the "Oak Springs & Walnut Trail" bookmark list on this webpage. Alternate Route: This trek is shorter by about 0.5 of a mile each way, but there are fewer caches to find, and it may be a little trickier to follow. Limited parking available at Cletus Ray (aka Cletus) Rd. Coords below. From the parking area, follow the logging road, finding and using the following caches as waypoints: Just Duck-ye (GC1XY44 ), Twin Trees (GC2DNON), Bradshaw Meadow Revisited (GC1TQ3M ) and Oh So Popular. From Oh So Popular, continue southwest across the dam about 90 feet and look for the Oak Springs Trail #16, a segment of the Arizona Trail. Follow the trail and your GPSr to the Arizona Diner Waypoint and then to the cache itself. Beyond Arizona Diner is the cache, Junior's Precarious Perch. Enjoy the trek!
