This cache is in a staggeringly beautiful area, abundant with wildlife. The Aqualate Mere nature reserve is based around the largest natural lake in the West Midlands - the reserve also includes reedbeds, woodland and low-lying wet grassland. The National Nature Reserve car park is located at N 52° 46.798 W 002° 18.990 and is the best place to park. Ground can be very wet and boggy.
This is a 2 stage cache. The public bridleway from the car park leads through the reserve, past the bird-hide on the left, and on to a rustic "troll's" bridge (hence the cache name) which passes over the stream.
Carry on to the published co-ordinates where you are looking for a very well hidden micro cache which contains the final cache coordinates which is the clue as to it's location in the local area.
