Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache IS at the listed coordinates in
Paradise Valley.
Your mission is to find a cache on EACH day of the year.
Importantly, you DO NOT need to do the caches on 365 consecutive
days, but you will need to fill the yearly calendar with finds,
which could be done over several years.
Leap Day (February 29th) is NOT required to fulfill the challenge,
but if you have found one on that day, all the better.
Probably the easiest way to show that you have met the requirements
is by using a macro that is on GSAK. If you have cached for very
long (and you will have to have cached for at least a year to
qualify for this challenge), you are probably at least familiar
with GSAK. Newer versions of the regular stat generator
"FindStatGen" contains the "Finds by Found Date" stat that nicely
shows which days you have found caches and even how many per day.
Many people run the FindStatGen macro of their finds database
(which includes many options) and paste it to their profile. Also,
there is a stand alone macro called "CacheADay" that will list all
of the days of the year with the number of your finds in a simple
text file. Please show me you have met the requirements, in the
easiest way you can (especially if you do not use GSAK). If you
have already found a cache over each day of the year (and I know
several of you have), just show me you have met the requirements
and you are good to go.
Below is an example of the Find by Found Date stat. When all the
blanks are filled (except 2/29), you're ready.
There are a bunch of other great caches in Paradise Valley that I
invite you to find. If you are in the area and haven't yet
completed the requirements for the cache, I do not mind if you sign
the logbook, just don't "find" it until you qualify.
Congrats to Johnny Boy and DB Cooper on the
FTF
