This is an other cache of our bunker serie, which includes Rio Barbaro, Punto di vista, Cascata and Bonus-Rock.
The cache shows you an old bunker, belonging to a system of fortifications along the Italian northern frontier. The „Vallo Alpino“ was built by the Italians in the years leading up to World War II and reached from from Ventimiglia in the west to Fiume in the east.
Cause there was little use of the fortificationline during WWII the bunkers are in good shape.
It´s the largest bunker that we have discovered up to now, it is part of a serie of bunkers around Portis, which were planned to cooperate. As well as in the other fortifications of this serie you need a very good torch and a good sense of orientation.
The coordinates show only the entrance. Your mission is to find the highest point of the fortifaction, where you can find the cache.
At the front side of the logbook is a number (N=?). Notice the number, maybe you will need it one day.
