Kitty!!: I visited the series today with a view to replacing a couple of caches and moving a couple. However, I have decided to completely revamp the series for publication at an event early 2014. As the paths are so muddy at present there seems little point in moving caches only to archive them in a few months.

Thank you to everyone who has found the caches and for all the lovely feedback. I hope you will enjoy the revised trail next spring.

Geocache Description:

The sixth cache in the Downham Loop Series. Please refer to GC2323F before starting

You are looking for a small lock and shut pot. Trees made obtaining acurate coordinates a little tricky and the more we tried to average them the worse the accuracy levels became- so please be flexible! There is no need to leave the footpath and the cache hide should be obvious to cachers!

Inside the cache you will find coordinates for the two bonus caches. Head on to the micro bonus first - simply follow the footpath through the gate and down the hill and through the farmyard to the private road/bridleway and then follow your GPS.

Shortly after this cache (through the gate and on your right at the end of the wooded area) you will pass the shed Little One believes was the real Grandpa Potts' shed - in which he'd go "orf to India - for a cup of tea with the Maharaja"

PLEASE NOTE: Some cachers seem to be going "as the crow flies" to the micro bonus - please dont - please follow the footpath! Carry straight on down the hill (along the fence line) and through a farm yard. You will eventually hit the bridleway/private road. Then follow GPS to the waypoint and then on to the bonus micro co-ords.
