Kitty!!: I visited the series today with a view to replacing a couple of caches and moving a couple. However, I have decided to completely revamp the series for publication at an event early 2014. As the paths are so muddy at present there seems little point in moving caches only to archive them in a few months.

Thank you to everyone who has found the caches and for all the lovely feedback. I hope you will enjoy the revised trail next spring.

Geocache Description:

The fifth cache of the Downham Loop series. Please refer to GC2323F for details before starting.

Due to a new fence being erected around the cache I have as of 18th July 2010 had to remove the pot and replace with a small micro. The series really benefited from a pot for tradeables here but at present cant see how to do this. Will hopefully come up with an alternative method before too long. Clue has changed and micro is now about 8 ft from original location. Havent changed coords yet as didnt have GPS with me - however, with clue should be an easy find.

From this cache follow the footpath westwards along the hedgeline and then into the wood. Note - the footpath from this cache is the far side of the hedgeline - after all - what else is the handy style there for?!
