Geocache Description:

A cache near to one of the highest waterfall in Greece.

The waterfall of Aba is located near the end of the gorge of Aba at the mountain Kofinas. It is 145mt high and winter and spring time (when it has water) it is very impressive.
To reach there you have to drive 60 km south of Heraklion to the village Paranimfi. Just before the village you follow the sign to the settlement Tris Eklissies (which is a very beautiful beach). After 600mt you find a road to the left with the sign to Aba. From now you have two options. The first is to park there and walk to the cache, it is about 900 mt (you have to open two gates) or to drive until the end of road which leads you only 300 mt from the cache (again you open these two gates, don't forget to close them). The cache is at a "balcony" where you have a clear view to the waterfall.
PS. If any tourist wants to place a cache in the area we would do the maintaince. We travel often there.
