Interesting natural phenomenon.
Carlo Sand Blow was named by Captain Cook after one of his deck crew. The unique sand mass covers over 15 hectares above the towering coloured sands of Rainbow Beach. An excellent spot to watch the sunrise or sunset. The views are spectacular to the East. To the S.E. is Double Island Point and the cliffs of coloured sand. Tin Can Bay and the Great Sandy Straits lie to the West. You are looking for a well hidden micro ‘bison-type’ container. If you are completely lost, we have included a photo hint in the gallery. The cache IS off the path, but no more than 1.5m. No need to venture not the bush, or damage any flora. The container is ANCHORED to GZ, so as to reduce mis-placement. The cache should be covered, so you will have to scratch around to uncover it. Please be sure to hide well when returning it to its hiding spot.
