Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off the green trail, a 1.2 mile loop hike with several caches along the way. The trailhead is at the Cedarglades Road entrance to Cedar Glades Park.

The Indians mined novaculite at many quarries on the mountains around Hot Springs. They used the material to make their arrowheads. Unlike the Indians, we don’t practice a “leave no trace” policy. This park is on reclaimed land that once was the city landfill.

Cedar Glades park has something for almost everyone. It is a 218 acre county park that includes playgrounds, pavilions, over 15 miles of hiking and biking trails, a three story treehouse, a world class disc golf course, and a radio controlled air field and car track. The creeks and trees really put you back in touch with nature!

You are looking for a small container with a log only. Please bring your writing utensil.

Good luck and happy caching. Please report any problems you might encounter.

Congratulations to Quartzcachers - - FTF!!!
