Puisqu'il n'y a pas eu de maintenance dans un laps de temps raisonnable, j'archive cette cache.

Geocache Description:

Pour arriver à cette cache, garez vous au waypoint indiqué et continuez à pied. C’est tout près, mais il vaut peut être mieux prévoir des chaussures imperméables !…..

Ce barrage date de 1270.
Au XIIIe siècle, le problème des moulins à eau consiste à maîtriser une rivière capricieuse, en établissant une retenue d’où part un canal de dérivation au débit constant.
La digue d’ Anan est probablement l’une des plus anciennes construites sur la Save.
Le choix de l’implantation découle de la présence d’un banc de roche, qui permet une assise solide.
Au début, la pachère (sorte de canal d'amenée) a été réalisée en bois de chêne et certains pieux ont été retrouvés dans l’eau dans un bon état de conservation.
L’ensemble a ensuite été construit en pierres du pays, taillées et ajustées, les arêtes seules étant en brique. Au pied de l’ouvrage, un dallage est destiné à empêcher le ravinement.

This dam dates from 1270.
In the thirteenth century, the problem of water mills is to master a capricious river by setting a reservoir where a floodway starts from, with a constant flow.
The dam of Anan is probably one of the oldest built on the Save.
The choice of the location results from the presence of a stone bench, which allows a solid foundation.
At the beginning, the pachère (sort of intake channel) was made in oak and some piles were found in the water in a good state of preservation.
The whole structure was then built in local stone, cut and fit, only the edges were made of brick. At the foot of the structure, a paving is designed to prevent gully erosion.
