Beddington Park was originally part of the deer park attached to Carew Manor.
The River Wandle runs through the park close to St. Marys Church.
There is a childrens playground and cafe( cafe opening times can be variable) and London Wildcare animal hospital is situated in the park.
There are 3 carparks, buses 407, 410, 463, X26 and 151 have stops in Croydon Road or London Road and Hackbridge Station is nearby.
Hope you enjoy visiting the park.
NB. The Wandle is popular for paddling in good weather but there is also a deep pond situated in the park.
The original cache has been replaced-it is now a cylindrical tub with black tape- and the location has changed slightly, hopefully less likely to go missing but maybe a bit harder to find- the co-ordinates and clue have remained the same.
