Three years ago today we found our first cache on the Oregon Coast, OTTER VIEW, (GCP1G4) . It was rated a 2.5 for difficulty and 1 for terrain. We really didn't know what we were doing, it was a camo'd hide but when we had it in our hands, we were hooked. In honor of our anniversary of Geo-Caching, we thought this location had some attributes like our 1st find....such as:
Although not near the Pacific Ocean on the Oregon Coast, it is near Grata Creek that runs into Lake Tayhua
It is a camo but not the same type of container
It is a busy road but definitely not like Hwy 101
Stealth is required as could be some muggles
There is a pull off for parking on either end of bridge
Have fun and if this is your first find, you will know how it feels to be Hooked on Geo-caching.
