L'histoire de Villers-Bretonneux est à jamais liée au sang des 11.000 soldats australiens , les "Diggers", qui donnèrent leur vie sur ces terres en 1918.
La commune est jumelée avec Robinvale dans l'Etat de Victoria depuis 1984. Tous les ans, l'Anzac-Day commémore ce souvenir.
Rendez vous aux coordonnées indiquées à l'obélisque du souvenir.

- La date de la libération de Villers-Bretonneux par les troupes australiennes : le 25 avril 19AB.
- La date du projet de reconstruction de l'école : le 25 août 19CD.

The history story of Villers-Bretonneux is bound forever to the blood of 11.000 Australian soldiers, the "Diggers", which gave their life onto these lands in 1918.
The municipality is coupled with Robinvale in the State of Victoria since 1984. Every year, Anzac-Day commemorates this memory.
