Cmentarz:

Aby mlyny wasze znowu melly
I wasze oczy promienialy,
Aby wasze kosy znów dzwieczaly
I wasze kobiety spiewaly,
Aby kominy wasze znów dymily
I dzieci wasze rozkwitaly:
Z woli bozej i nakazu
Sprawilismy to my - polegli.

Mozna tu takze pozostawic samochód aby odwiedzic pobliski Stary Cmentarz.

The Cemetery:

On the new cemetery in Tuchów there is a special part separated for soldiers fallen during WWI. It's another design by Henrich Scholz as most cemeteries in this region. There is a memorial in a shape of a wall with an inscription in German language:

May your mills grind again
And your eyes shine,
May your scythes sound again
And your women sing,
May your chimneys smoke again
And your children thrive:
Of god's will and order
We have made it - the fallen.

On the cemetery 104 Austrians, 60 Russians and 1 German are buried. The presence of the German soldier on this cemetery is unusual there because Germans didn't take part in the battles fought in this neighbourhood. Probably it's a soldier who died during transport by train.

Car Park:

Close to the cemetery there is a handy car park for visitors. It's coordinates are: N 49° 53.410 E 021° 03.110. You can also leave there your car if you want to visit the Old Cemetery nearby.

The Cache:

Container is a magnetic micro, includes a logbook and a pencil.
