Geocache Description:

Lots of cachers make a fuss when a cache is first published--running out to find it on the day it is "born"--but we seem to forget their birthdays.

Caches: happy birthday to you!

The 6 Birthdays Challenge--the first compilation challenge cache dedicated to birthday finds--has been well received, but we geocachers always try to make a good idea even better. So, thanks to all who have given me feedback on the original challenge. Here's a new-and-different birthdays challenge for your enjoyment! The idea is to find 10 caches on their birthdays (hidden date).

Here are the key differences from the original:
10 birthday finds in total (a birthday find is a find of a cache that is at least one year old, on the same month and day as its hidden date)
caches you have found previously are fine, even if you have used them toward the original challenge
these birthday finds can be in any order, unlike the ordered 1 through 6 of the original challenge

BUT:

at least one qualifying cache has to be celebrating its 8th or older birthday
at least one other cache has to be celebrating its 4th-7th birthday
In your "found it" log, list the qualifying caches--include at least the waypoint ID (the "GC number"), their hide dates, and the date you found them.
There's a short puzzle to solve to find the final location. See below.

To get to the final location, find the spot that's two-thirds the way from the posted coordinates to reference waypoint at N 38° 34.925 W 121° 27.906, as the crow flies (use simple interpolation). Whoomp, there it is!

This straightforward puzzle doesn't really need a checker, but I really wanted to make the "certitude crowd" aware of the challenge. Perhaps a few folks who wouldn't have seen it otherwise will now be interested to take a look. As a cache creator, I can hope ... Enjoy!

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
