Clyne Farm Centre and Clyne Estate are situated on the gateway to The Gower Peninsula. Once the Home Farm for the Clyne Castle Estate, the centre offers self catering accommodation in converted cottages and barns (2- 51 persons). On the main site there are seven cottages sleeping from 2 up to 14 persons in each. There are also three camping fields accommodating 30-40 pitches. Camping prices are:- ages 6 to adult £5.00 per person per night, under 5s free. Now fully booked! .

Dogs are allowed but due to the resident animals must be kept on a lead at all times.

The event centre will be situated in the Dining Hall and will be open from 10:00am on Saturday 1st May.

During the day Geocachers will be able to sign the event log, drop off and pick up Travel Bugs and Geocoins, purchase raffle tickets and have a go at the tombola to help raise funds for geocaching events in South Wales and pick up information on any new local caches (thanks guys for your help!).

The event will be an opportunity to help Travel Bugs on their way, especially if anyone will be off to an exotic destination soon after. If you intend to bring any TBs, “drop” them into the cache online a few days before the event, with a note of their objectives. If you can help a bug on the way to its objective, note this also. If you do place/retrieve a TB at the event, make sure that you log it promptly, keeping a note of its tracking number, etc.

There will also be a selection of refreshments available throughout the day.

At 4PM we will get together in the dining hall for;

The raffle prize draw

An auction of highly desirable and much sought after items

The official Announcment of the date and venue of the 2011 Mega Event (hint - it's somewhere in Wales!) followed by a question and answer session with the Mega Event committee members.

The First chance to purchase the new Miners' Lamp geocoin!.

We will finish the day with the traditional bring yer own BBQ

The Event Centre   One of the Camping Fields

There are many fantastic caches in the immediate area (and hopefully a few more will be published in the day) with many more on the Gower and the nearby hills.

This year's sunday excursion, 10 Years! Rhossili, Gower, will be at, err, Rhossili and will involve descending to the beach and crossing the causeway to the Wyrms's Head. If you're not up to it, please feel free come along and stand atop the cliffs and offer 'help' and 'encouragement' to those racing the tide...

Anyone still not sated is invited to join us on the Blorenge for lunch on the Monday to crack open a cheap bottle of bubbly at Wales' oldest cache to celebrate the 10th anniversay of the placing of the world's first ever geocache in Oregon, USA.
