January 10th

In an effort to celebrate and memorialize my birthday, I am placing my first puzzle cache. While this cache is not technically being placed on my actual birthday, which occurred on January 10th, the idea for the cache came to me on that date. The cache is not at the above posted coordinates, but it will be nearby. You can find the cache at the following coordinates: N AB° C0.DEF W GH° IJ.KLM

Due to a tragic birthday candle incident that occurred during a birthday party approximately ten years ago and the memories now associated with that incident, I now strictly and vehemently forbid the singing of "Happy Birthday" at my birthday parties. Instead, at every birthday celebration it is customary for my family to turn on the radio and listen to one of the popular songs of that day. As a family, we'll sit quietly and listen or sometimes sing along to whatever new hit is playing. Some of my fondest memories from recent years are of sitting around the dinner table with my closest friends and family listening to the radio and reflecting on birthday songs of years past.
