AmboGuy - raising the bar on geocaching Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within the requested time period, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current geocaching.com guidelines. Please don’t post a note on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

A nice little sneaky micro, easy stroll on good path. Recent feedback indicates that the retrieval magnet is again missing. I will attempt to find a new location for the magnet. One cacher phoned me with a good spot, I will look into that. IN THE MEANTIME, YOU WILL NEED A MAGNET WITH A REACH OF AT LEAST 2.5CM/1 INCH to retrieve cache.

THIS CACHE IS EASY FOR THOSE WITHOUT A GPS, hint- look at aerial photo in google earth, it is in near or around the 1800's gymnasium ruin. YOU WILL NEED A MAGNET PICK UP TOOL RETRIEVE THE CACHE NOW. LOOK AT THE PICS BELOW AND YOU WILL FIND ONE!! WHEN REPLACING THE CACHE, MAKE SURE IT IS DEEP ENOUGH THAT FINGERS CAN'T PULL IT OUT I will add more history about the ruins as I get it. I think I have a solution to the water problem, I rolled up a Timmies napkin, and used that as a wick to absorb water, if you plan on doing this cache during or after raining, please help me out and carry a napkin in your pocket. As for smelly, it was sitting in water that has been in the area for 40 years, this should resolve. Good luck Guy
