Count the number of letters in each holiday - ignore spaces,
numbers, symbols, and punctuation marks. Divide the number of
letters in each holiday by 10 and take the remainder. The remainder
is the value for that holiday.
Here's an example. Suppose the holiday is National "Beam Me
Up, Scotty" Day. There are 25 letters in the name of that
holiday - the remainder when you divide by 10 is 5, so 5 is the
value for that holiday. An easy way to remember is that the
remainder is always the right-most digit in the number of
letters.
