While walking around
here in the Eugene D Moran W.M.A. looking for a new locations for
caches I was startled by a big 10 point buck staring at me from the
tree line near the swamp.
As I got closer to
this beast of a dear, he just stood there looking at me with no
intention of moving. I was quite amazed to see him holding his
ground along with the fact that he still had his
antlers.
After a few minutes
of a staring contest between the two of us, I won the
contest.
As he slowly turned
his back and walked away I knew that I needed to place a cache here
to share my experience with you and hope that you may have the same
experience as I did.

W.M.A. is heavily stocked with pheasant and hunted just as much
during the season. Please do not attempt try for this one during
that time, and if you do, wear hunter orange to make sure you are
seen.
