Geocache Description:

Now that I have a GPS, what can I do with it and how can I be a better geocacher ??

Geocaching 101 is an introduction to Geocaching and covers the basic knowledge needed to enjoy the sport and provides some food for thought that may help you in the field.

Some topics up for discussion include:
- logs ... types and when to use them
- cache maintenance
- placing caches
- being prepared in the field
- Questions and Answers

The event will be held at the Ashburn Library and will be taught by rufnredy.

Date: Tuesday, February 2nd
Time: 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm
Address: Ashburn Library, 43316 Hay Road, Ashburn

This class is an introduction to Geocaching and is meant for new cachers and those experienced cachers who may have questions about the sport and how you can help make it better for yourself and everyone else.

I have room for 50 or more ... if you know any new cachers or interested muggles let them know and note the number in the will attend log so I can be sure we will not overflow the room ...

Hope to see you there!!

Note: The coordinates are for a cache in the parking lot. Go into the big building next to it for this event.
