| Introduction |
Trams were and still are important means of public transport in Budapest. They carry thousands of people all around the city from the main transport hubs to the suburbs and back. The Budapest Tram Hunting series present all types of trains used in Budapest as well as the underground (or metro as we call it). The hunting for each of them will give you the opportunity to zig-zag across the city and see some of the main hubs and several interesting sites. For the recommended route see the spoiler map.
In order to find the caches you have to get on the trams and travel several stops. It is recommended to purchase a one-day travel card (1550 HUF) which will cover the fare of public transport usage for the entire day. If you find all 7 caches you`ll get the co-ordinates for the BONUS one.

Substance and history |

The first trains were ordered in 1966 and started the scheduled operations in April 1970. The first series running in Budapest were Ev type cars, where E stands for the model of the car and v stands for the name of Hungary in Russian (Vengria). Later on Hungary bought more cars, those are called Ev3 and have stronger motors (72 kW instead of 66). 45 cars were modernized between 2000 and 2002, those received the name EvA. Currently there are 45 Ev cars without modernization. Originally there were 100 cars of which 10 had been scrapped and 45 had been turned into EvA cars. All 95 cars are still in operation of the Ev3 series.

The current fleet is the following: 63 pieces of the 81-7172 type, 122 of the 81-7142 type (one had been scrapped from the original amount of 123), 4 of the 81-7172M and 6 of the 81-7142M.

| Bevezetés |
A budapesti villamosok már 123 éve zörögnek a föváros utcáin utasok tízezreit szállítva a bel- és külvárosi végállomások között. A budapesti villamosvadászat sorozat bemutatja a jelenleg üzemben lévö villamos típusokat, valamint a metrót, a kis földalattit és a fogaskerekü vasutat. Ha minden típust le akarsz velünk vadászni, bejárhatod a város számos közlekedési csomópontját és nevezetességét. A sorozat egy útvonalra füzve végigjárható, amelyet a spoiler térkép mutat. Ahhoz, hogy az elrejtett ládákat megtaláld, fel kell szállnod a bemutatott jármüre. Javasoljuk, hogy legyen napijegyed (1550 HUF) vagy havi bérleted. Ha mind a 7 cache-t begyüjtötted, megkeresheted a sorozat BONUS-át.

Az elso szerelvényeket 1966-ban rendelte az ország, melyek 1970 áprilisában álltak forgalomba. A kocsik az Ev nevet kapták, amibol az E a típusmegnevezés, a v Magyarország rövidítése. Késobb újabb szerelvényeket vett az ország, ezeket Ev3-nak nevezik. Erosebb motorral rendelkezik (66 helyett 72 kW-os). 45 kocsit felújítottak 2000-2002 között, ezek az EvA típusnevet kapták. Felújítatlan Ev-bol most 45 db van, eredetileg 100 db volt, ebbol 10-et selejteztek, 45-bol pedig EvA lett. Ev3-ból a mai napig megvan mind a 95 db.
