Geocache Description:

An event with something for all: experienced cachers as well as the Brand-"Newbie". Come to the Mid Columbia Library, West Richland, WA 99353, 3803 W. Van Giesen, West Richland, WA, 99353 (509) 967-3191

This meeting is open to the Public, so there will be some non-cachers in attendance, that hopefully will join us in this fun game.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 6 to 8pm. If you are an experienced Geocacher, please bring your favorite GPS (or two or three), and come prepared to help the new and non-cachers learn about this great sport of ours. The library has Wi-Fi, so bring your laptops too, and we can do a "hands-on" demo of cruising the Geocache site. We can also help the non-cachers get signed up with their caching name, so they can participate and actually log their first finds, the event and the new cache.

The basics of Geocaching will be shared with attendees, as well as examples on display of many different types of hides. The will be several "temporary" caches to find outside the library, as well as one Brand New regular loggable cache, inside the library itself.

Oh yes, and rumor has it that there just might be juice and cookies too.
